UCAS extends partnership with Infosys
IT major Infosys announced on Thursday that the UCAS, an admissions service for UK higher education extended its partnership with Infosys until 2021 in order to support its business strategy. UCAS that delivers admissions and information services to students, institutions and higher education providers, supports millions of application from across the world and runs one of the biggest infrastructure event with the UK education sector.
The company has been in partnership with Infosys for over three years. Following the renewable of the partnership, Infosys is likely to provide a wide range of digital services to UCAS in order to develop technology capabilities, lower cost of operations and enhance services.
Infosys has surged by 17.09 per cent on the bourses in the last three months. It hit its 52-week high of Rs. 1,220 per share on January 24, 2018 and its 52-week low of Rs. 861.50 per share on August 22, 2017, respectively. It hit an intraday high of Rs. 1,140 per share and an intraday low of Rs. 1,121 per share on BSE on Friday. At 11:20 hours IST, the stock was trading at Rs. 1,129.70 per share, higher by 1.40 per cent on BSE.
Meanwhile, S&P BSE Sensex was trading at 34,239.56 level, lower by 0.17 per cent and NSE Nifty 50 was trading at 10,539.25 level, lower by 0.06 per cent, respectively.
