Trident slumps over 4 per cent despite retail footprint expansion
Trident Limited, the flagship company of Trident Group, announced on Wednesday that the company has expanded its retail footprint with six new showrooms across India.
The home textiles manufacturer strengthened its retail presence in the country with the opening of six new exclusive showrooms for its bed & bath linen brands. The showrooms are spread across 500 square feet each, which are located in Ludhiana (two showrooms), Panchkula, Pune, Solapur, and Bhopal. With the new addition, Trident’s exclusive showrooms have now increased to a total of 12.
With this expansion, the company plans to reach a wider audience, given value-driven offerings & affordable luxury for great quality products. In line with ‘vocal for local’ & ‘local for global’ initiatives, the company aims to take exclusive showrooms count to 45 by the end of 2021.
Trident Limited is one of the leading global players in home textiles with a 65 per cent market share in home textile. The company’s revenue mix consists of 54 per cent from bath & bed linen, 26 per cent from yarn and 20 per cent from paper.
At around 12.07 pm today, the company’s stock was trading down by 4.76 per cent at Rs 13.22. The share recorded an intraday high of Rs 14.05 and an intraday low of Rs 13.15 on BSE.
