Top three stocks that witnessed heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 85.99 points or 0.15 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index weakened to 55,300.27, a loss of 97.26 points or 0.17 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals shined by 0.21 per cent, power strengthened by nearly 0.3 per cent whereas auto climbed 0.33 per cent.
Meanwhile, Paisalo Digital, Sonata Software Ltd, and Sundram Fasteners emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. Barring Sonata Software, none of the other companies have made any major announcements lately. Hence, the rally in their share prices could purely be driven by the market forces.
Paisalo Digital Ltd, an S&P BSE Smallcap company, rallied 9.78 per cent to trade at Rs 78 apiece.
Sonata Software Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, surged 7.67 per cent to trade at Rs 734 apiece. This rally came on the back of an announcement made by the company on Wednesday. As per the exchange filing, in a board meeting scheduled on July 25, 2022, a proposal for a bonus issue of shares shall be discussed.
Meanwhile, Sundram Fasteners Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, climbed 3.99 per cent to trade at Rs 824 apiece.
