Top three stocks that witnessed heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 157.09 points or 0.29 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further weakened to 54,326.03, a loss of 195.12 points or 0.36 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals got hammered by 0.3 per cent, power weakened by over 0.2 per cent whereas auto slipped 0.05 per cent.
Meanwhile, Dr Lal PathLabs, KSB Ltd, and Cerebra Integrated Technologies emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. None of these companies have made any major announcements lately. Hence, the rally in their share prices could purely be driven by the market forces.
Dr Lal PathLabs Ltd, an S&P BSE 200 company, rallied 7.27 per cent to trade at Rs 2,163 apiece.
KSB Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, surged 6.03 per cent to trade at Rs 1,530 apiece.
Cerebra Integrated Technologies Ltd, an S&P BSE Smallcap company, climbed 5.44 per cent to trade at Rs 48.45 apiece.
