Top three stocks that witnessed heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 1.62 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index was able to hold on to a gain of 684 points or 1.30 per cent.
On the sectoral front, metals shined over 2 per cent, oil & gas climbed 1.6 per cent whereas power strengthened more than a per cent.
Meanwhile, JSW Holdings Ltd, Centrum Capital Ltd, and Tata Metaliks Ltd emerged as the highest gainers from Group A in the pre-opening session today. None of these companies have made any announcements lately. Hence, the rally in their share prices could purely be driven by market forces.
JSW Holdings Ltd, an S&P BSE Smallcap company, surged 17.87 per cent to trade at Rs 3,740 apiece.
Centrum Capital Ltd, another S&P BSE Smallcap company rallied 17.73 per cent to trade at Rs 23.90 apiece.
Tata Metaliks Ltd, also from the small-cap universe, soared 9.85 per cent to trade at Rs 731.80 apiece.
