Top three stocks that witnessed heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
After a decline of around 2 per cent in the previous trading session, the broad market index S&P BSE Sensex opened in the green today. The index rose from the levels of 57,166.74 in the previous trading session to 57,389.40 in today’s session, an increase of 0.39 per cent.
During this time, Varroc Engineering Ltd, Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd & Suryoday Small Finance Bank Ltd gained the most amid positive market sentiments. These were the top three gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session.
Varroc Engineering Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, rallied 7.90 per cent in the pre-opening session. At 9.07 am, the shares of the company were trading at Rs 440, an increase of Rs 32.20 from the previous day’s closing price of Rs 407.80 on BSE.
Similarly, Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd, an S&P BSE SmallCap company, jumped 7 per cent on the bourses. At 9.07 am, the shares of the company were trading at Rs 106.20, an increase of Rs 6.95 from the previous day’s closing price of Rs 99.25 on BSE.
At the same time, the shares of Suryoday Small Finance Bank Ltd, another S&P BSE SmallCap company, soared 6.03 per cent. At 9.07 am, the shares of the company were trading at Rs 150.30, an increase of Rs 8.55 from the previous day’s closing price of Rs 141.75 on BSE.
