Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 564.58 points or 0.73 per cent. By 9.17 am, the index stood at 77,385.38, signifying a gain of 479.87 points or 0.62 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.67 per cent, power zoomed by 1.57 and auto soared by 1.13 per cent.
Meanwhile, Power Mech Projects Ltd, ISGEC Heavy Engineering Ltd and Ami Organics Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Power Mech Projects Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 6.69 per cent to trade at Rs 2,313.85 apiece. The company has secured a Rs 579 crore (excluding GST) order from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) for civil, structural, and architectural works at the 2x800MW DVC Koderma (KTPS) Phase-II project in Jharkhand. The scope of the project includes power block area levelling, grading, construction of various foundations, buildings, and infrastructure, along with rooftop solar foundations, sewage and fire protection systems, fencing, and more.
ISGEC Heavy Engineering Ltd, an S&P BSE company, gained 6.23 per cent to trade at Rs 1,140.95 apiece. ISGEC Heavy Engineering Ltd has completed an additional equity infusion of Rs 2.55 crore in its joint venture and subsidiary, Isgec Titan Metal Fabricators Pvt. Ltd. The Board of Directors allotted 2,00,000 equity shares at Rs 250 per share, raising Rs 5 crore in total. ISGEC received 1,02,000 shares, while Titan Metal Fabricators Inc. received 98,000 shares.
Ami Organics Ltd, an S&P BSE company, rose 5.59 per cent to trade at Rs 2,549.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
