At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 276.18 points or 0.36 per cent. By 9.17 am, the index stood at 76,026.01, signifying a gain of 187.65 points or 0.25 per cent over its previous closing.
