At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 87.46 points or 0.11 per cent. By 9.1 am, the index stood at 78,711.14 signifying a gain of 238.27 points or 0.3 per cent over its previous closing.
