Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 68.51 points or 0.08 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 81,745.63 signifying a gain of 33.87 points or 0.04 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.39 per cent, power zoomed by 0.26 and auto soared by 0.44 per cent.
Meanwhile, Kaveri Seed Company Ltd, Datamatics Global Services and Zydus Wellness Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Kaveri Seed Company Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 3.58 per cent to trade at 1,087.90 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Datamatics Global Services Ltd rallied 5.99 per cent to trade at Rs 713.50 apiece. The company has partnered with Microsoft to develop its own copilot solutions focusing on process automation to accelerate business transformation for organization.
NBCC (India) Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 5.26 per cent to trade at Rs 187 apiece. The company ha meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company, NBCC (India) Limited, is scheduled to be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024 to inter-alia “consider the proposal for issue of bonus Shares to the equity shareholders of the company in the ratio, as it may deem fit by way of capitalisation of reserves, subject to the Shareholders approval.
