Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 301.79 points or 0.37 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 81,109.13 signifying a gain of 203.83 points or 0.25 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.62 per cent, power zoomed by 0.27 and auto soared by 0.36 per cent.
Meanwhile, Aarti Drugs Ltd, EIH Hotel Ltd and Shyam Metalics and Energy Ltd and Ramkrishna Forgings Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Aarti Drugs Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 12.39 per cent to trade at Rs 600 apiece. The Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to be held on Monday, August 26, 2024 to consider the proposal of buyback of the fully paid-up equity shares of Rs 10.
EIH Ltd, rallied 7.51 per cent to trade at Rs 401.60 apiece. The Company will be participating in PhillipCapital’s Asia Road Show, scheduled to take place from 28th August 2024 to 30th August 2024 in Singapore and Hong Kong.
Shyam Metalics and Energy Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 6.05 per cent to trade at Rs 810 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
