These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 392.18 points or 0.51 per cent. By 9.17 am, the index stood at 76,807.84, signifying a gain of 308.21 points or 0.4 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.81 per cent, power zoomed by 1.07, and auto soared by 0.63 per cent.
Meanwhile, Shoppers Stop Ltd, Cigniti Technologies Ltd, and Astrazeneca Pharma India Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Shoppers Stop Ltd rallied 7.11 per cent to trade at Rs 665 apiece. Shoppers Stop a leading department store with premier fashion and beauty brands, has declared its results for the quarter ended 31st December 2024. Delivered Strong Q3 performance, driven by premiumization and other KPI’s Q3 Sales Rs 1,311 crore up by 9 per cent, EBITDA of Rs 262 crore up by 20 per cent, and PAT of Rs 49 crore up by 37 per cent.
Cigniti Technologies Ltd an S&P BSE company, surged 6.13 per cent to trade at Rs 1,620.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
