Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 108.19 points or 0.14 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 78,991.27 signifying a gain of 35.24 points or 0.04 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.64 per cent, power zoomed by 0.57 and auto soared by 0.42 per cent.
Meanwhile, SJVN Ltd, Laurus Labs Ltd and Marksans Pharma Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
SJVN Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.81 per cent to trade at Rs 144.90 apiece. The company has announced its first Quarterly Results of Q1FY25.
Laurus Labs Ltd rallied 4.65 per cent to trade at Rs 439.10 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Marksans Pharma Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.39 per cent to trade at Rs 196.10 apiece. The company has announced its first quarterly results of Q1FY25 where the company records revenue up by 18 per cent YoY, Gross Margin Expands by 418 bps and over 25 per cent YoY increase in EBITDA and PAT.
