Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 218.94 points or 0.28 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 79,678.83 signifying a gain of 919.43 points or 1.17 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.56 per cent, power plunged by 0.04 and auto soared by 0.54 per cent.

Meanwhile, V-Mart Retail Ltd, Bharti Airtel Ltd and Vardhman Textiles Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
V-Mart Retail Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 10.02 per cent to trade at Rs 3,574.25 apiece The company has announced its first Quarterly Results of Q1FY25 where revenue grew by 16 per cent and profit had a turnaround with 155 per cent.
Bharti Airtel Ltd rallied 9.25 per cent to trade at Rs 1,159.90 apiece. The company has announced its first quarterly results of Q1FY25 where company posts quarterly revenues of Rs 38,506 crore up 2.8 per cent YoY, up 2.4 per cent QoQ, impacted by currency devaluation in Africa.
Vardhman Textiles Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 7.80 per cent to trade at Rs 537.45 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
