Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 208.34 points or 0.25 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 81,981.08 signifying a gain of 239.74 points or 0.29 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 1.59 per cent, power zoomed by 0.34 and auto soared by 0.79 per cent.
Meanwhile, Astrazeneca Pharma India Ltd, Aster DM Healthcare Ltd and Neuland Laboratories Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Astrazeneca Pharma India Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 6.68 per cent to trade at Rs 7500 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Aster DM Healthcare Ltd rallied 6.46 per cent to trade at Rs 369.35 apiece. The company has announced its first Quarterly Results of Q1FY25. Aster India reports strong revenue and EBITDA performance. Q1 FY25 revenues up 20 per cent YoY to Rs 1,002 crore; highest ever for Aster India Q1 FY25 Operating EBITDA up 39% per cent YoY to Rs 177 crore.
Neuland Laboratories Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 5.64 per cent to trade at Rs 9241.85 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
