Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 336.51 points or 0.42 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 80,166.69 signifying a loss of 179.89 points or 0.22 per cent over its previous closing.

Meanwhile, Orient Cement Ltd, Suryoday Small Finance Bank Ltd and Solar Industries India Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

Orient Cement Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.47 per cent to trade at Rs 323.85 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.

Suryoday Small Finance Bank Ltd rallied 4.74 per cent to trade at Rs 199 apiece. The Bank has witnessed growth in all performance parameters on YoY basis. The disbursements in Q1 FY25 stood at around Rs 1,740 Crores as compared to Rs 1,190 Crores in Q1 FY24 (YoY growth of 46 per cent), on the back of the continued momentum in Vikas Loan as well as Retail Assets disbursements. Deposit Growth was mainly led by TD, but acquisition of granular CASA was limited, resulting in decrease in CASA Ratio.

Solar Industries India Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.62 per cent to trade at Rs 11998 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
