Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 1,985.37 points or 2.68 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further strengthened at 76,557.94 signifying a gain of 2,596.63 points or 3.51per cent over its previous closing. 

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.53 per cent, power gained 0.23 and auto rose by 0.25 per cent. 

Meanwhile, Venus Pipes & Tubes Ltd, Adani Power Ltd and Adani Total Gas Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. 

Venus Pipes & Tubes Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 17.22 per cent to trade at Rs 2489.95 apiece.  

Adani Power Ltd rallied 15.64 per cent to trade at Rs 875.00 apiece.  

Adani Total Gas Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 15.28 per cent to trade at Rs 1197.95 apiece.
