Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 137.02 points or 0.18 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 74,307.89 signifying a loss of 195.01 points or 0.26 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, Oil & Gas rose by 0.33 per cent, Telecommunication gained 0.30 and Capital Goods up by 0.27 per cent.
Meanwhile, Techno Electric & Engineering Company Ltd, One 97 Communications Ltd and Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Techno Electric & Engineering Company Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 6.75 per cent to trade at Rs 1198.95 apiece. The company has re-appointed its CFO.
One 97 Communications Ltd rallied 4.99 per cent to trade at Rs 377.50 apiece. The company clarified the news item appeared in Times of India on May 29, 2024 captioned “Adani in talks with Sharma to acquire stake in Paytm” this mentioned news item is speculative and the Company is not engaged in any discussions in this regard.
Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.14 per cent to trade at Rs 330.80 apiece. The company has announced statement of deviation or variation in utilization of funds raised through preferential issue of warrants for the quarter ended on March 31, 2024
