Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 286.85 points or 0.39 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 73,314.47 signifying a loss of 197.38 points or 0.27 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, oil & gas rose by 0.26 per cent, fast-moving consumer goods gained 0.09 and energy rose by 0.07 per cent.
Meanwhile, CreditAccess Grameen Ltd, Century Textiles & Industries Ltd and Jk Tyre & Industries Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
CreditAccess Grameen Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 3.67 per cent to trade at Rs 1476.00 apiece. The company has announced its Quarterly Results for March 2024 where it has completed 25 years of inclusive finance journey.
Century Textiles & Industries Ltd rallied 3.04 per cent to trade at Rs 1898.95 apiece. The company had an earnings call and investor presentation on May 7, 2024.
Jk Tyre & Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 2.91 per cent to trade at Rs 404.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
