Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 374.46 points or 0.50 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 74,555.44 signifying a gain of 307.22 points or 0.36 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.93 per cent, power gained 0.78 and auto rose by 0.25 per cent.
Meanwhile, Force Motors Ltd, Bharti Airtel Ltd and Aster DM Healthcare Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Force Motors Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 7.63 per cent to trade at Rs 8820.00 apiece. The company posted its production and sales data for March 2024 with a domestic sales of 3,152 units and exports of 420 units.
Bharti Airtel Ltd rallied 7.18 per cent to trade at Rs 839.90 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Aster DM Healthcare Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 6.13 per cent to trade at Rs 484.00 apiece. The company has scheduled its board meeting on Friday, April 12 to consider declaration of interim dividend for the financial year 2023-24. The company is also likely to announce a special dividend on account of the segregation of the GCC business through the sale by Affinity Holdings Pvt Ltd.
