These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 168.38 points or 0.23 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further strengthened at 71,972.18 signifying a gain of 240.76 points or 0.34 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.79 per cent, power gained 0.58 and auto rose by 0.85 per cent.
Meanwhile, Triveni Turbine Ltd, Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd and Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Triveni Turbine Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 6.97 per cent to trade at Rs 379.95 apiece. The stock rallied as the company delivered strong financial performance for the quarter ended December 31, 2023 with net profit rising 29.71 per cent to Rs 68.19 crore.
Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd rallied 4.78 per cent to trade at Rs 320.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.56 per cent to trade at Rs 285.70 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
