Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 334.84 points or 0.47 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 71,022.10 signifying a loss of 38.21 points or 0.05 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.72 per cent, power gained 0.40 and auto rose by 0.35 per cent.
Meanwhile, PTC India Ltd, Hitachi Energy India Ltd and Rattanindia Enterprises Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
PTC India Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 6.32 per cent to trade at Rs 226.40 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Hitachi Energy India Ltd rallied 4.50 per cent to trade at Rs 5919.00 apiece. The stock rallied as the company announced its financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2023 with four fold jump in net profit to Rs 22.97 crore.
Rattanindia Enterprises Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.47 per cent to trade at Rs 85.77 apiece. Shares of Rattanindia Enterprises surged as the company’s arm Revolt Motors unveiled its new model, the RV400 BRZ with an ex-showroom price of Rs 1,37,950.
