These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 640.57 points or 0.90 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 71,869.61 signifying a gain of 445.96 points or 0.62 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.37 per cent, power gained 1.99 and auto rose by 0.06 per cent.
Meanwhile, Aarti Pharmalabs Ltd, Borosil Renewables Ltd and Lloyds Metals and Energy Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Aarti Pharmalabs Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 13.55 per cent to trade at Rs 594.90 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Borosil Renewables Ltd rallied 8.86 per cent to trade at Rs 552.30 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Lloyds Metals and Energy Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 7.49 per cent to trade at Rs 637.00 apiece. The stock rallied as the company recently announced its financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2023 with 91 per cent jump in consolidated revenue to Rs 1,910.53 crore while net profit grew by 44 per cent to Rs 331.57 crore on YoY basis.
