Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 200.50 points or 0.28 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 72,373.41 signifying a slight loss of 36.97 points or 0.08 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.20 per cent, power gained 0.20 and auto rose by 0.27 per cent.
Meanwhile, Kalpataru Projects International Ltd, Techno Electric & Engineering Company Ltd and PTC Industries Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Kalpataru Projects International Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 6.08 per cent to trade at Rs 698.75 apiece. The stock rallied as the company along with its Joint Ventures and international subsidiaries secured new orders/notification of awards of Rs 3,244 crore.
Techno Electric & Engineering Company Ltd rallied 4.11 per cent to trade at Rs 815.20 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
PTC Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 3.79 per cent to trade at Rs 6200.00 apiece. On December 27, the company announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nasmyth (UK) for collaboration to leverage their capabilities for offering solutions to defence and aerospace customers in India and globally.
