These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened flat with a slight gain of 7.93 points. By 9.15 am, the index further strengthened at 71,634.17 signifying a gain of 196.98 points or 0.28 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.40 per cent, power gained 0.54 and auto rose by 0.30 per cent.
Meanwhile, Varun Beverages Ltd, Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd and Eureka Forbes Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Varun Beverages Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 15.19 per cent to trade at Rs 1350.00 apiece. The stock rallied as the company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Government of Jharkhand on December 18, 2023 for its proposed manufacturing plant in Patratu, Jharkand with a total capital outlay of approximately Rs 450 crore when fully commissioned in due course.
Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd rallied 15.16 per cent to trade at Rs 1475.85 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Eureka Forbes Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.23 per cent to trade at Rs 544.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
