Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 61.98 points or 0.09 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further strengthened at 69,666.13 signifying a gain of 115.10 points or 0.17 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.33 per cent, power gained 0.18 and auto rose by 0.34 per cent.
Meanwhile, Fineotex Chemical Ltd, GTL Infrastructure Ltd and Indian Bank emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Fineotex Chemical Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 4.28 per cent to trade at Rs 378.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
GTL Infrastructure Ltd rallied 3.68 per cent to trade at Rs 1.41 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Indian Bank, an S&P BSE company, climbed 2.89 per cent to trade at Rs 450.00 apiece. The bank has launched a Qualified Institution Placement (QIP) at a floor price of Rs 414.44 per share. In August, the bank approved to raise up to Rs 4000 crore through a share issue to institutional investors.
