Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 134.24 points or 0.19 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 69,700.30 signifying a gain of 46.57 points or 0.07 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.23 per cent, power gained 1.00 and auto rose by 0.27 per cent.
Meanwhile, Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd, Adani Total Gas Ltd and Delta Corp Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.00 per cent to trade at Rs 407.50 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Adani Total Gas Ltd rallied 4.78 per cent to trade at Rs 1104.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Delta Corp Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.64 per cent to trade at Rs 145.40 apiece. The company’s subsidiary, Deltatech Gaming Ltd got interim relief in the Goods and Services Tax (GST) demand case.
