Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a slight loss of 17.87 points or 0.03 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further strengthened at 66,380.80 signifying a gain of 206.60 points or 0.31 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.29 per cent, power gained 1.34 and auto rose by 0.39 per cent.
Meanwhile, Adani Total Gas Ltd, Adani Energy Solutions Ltd and Adani Green Energy Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Adani Total Gas Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 8.83 per cent to trade at Rs 701.00 apiece.
Adani Energy Solutions Ltd rallied 3.67 per cent to trade at Rs 900.00 apiece.
Adani Green Energy Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 3.07 per cent to trade at Rs 1084.75 apiece.
Adani Group shares experienced strong rally during the pre-opening session, following the Supreme Court's completion of hearings on multiple petitions seeking an investigation into the Adani-Hindenburg matter. Additionally, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) assured the Supreme Court that it requires no extra time to conclude its inquiry into the Adani Group.
