These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened flat with a slight loss of 11.53 points or 0.02 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 66,000.29 signifying a decline of 17.52 points or 0.03 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.28 per cent, power gained 0.39 and auto rose by 0.29 per cent.
Meanwhile, Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd, RattanIndia Power Ltd and CSB Bank Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 4.99 per cent to trade at Rs 347.00 apiece. The stock has been on a back-to-back upper circuit as it won a USD 2.2 billion order from the Nigerian government to develop solar infrastructure on November 22.
RattanIndia Power Ltd rallied 3.03 per cent to trade at Rs 9.87 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
CSB Bank Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 2.80 per cent to trade at Rs 386.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
