Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 111.75 points or 0.17 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further strengthened at 65,101.95 signifying a gain of 159.55 points or 0.51 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.75 per cent, power gained 0.52 and auto rose by 0.25 per cent.
Meanwhile, Prince Pipes and Fittings Ltd, Schneider Electric Infrastructure Ltd and Deepak Nitrite Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Prince Pipes and Fittings Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 8.49 per cent to trade at Rs 678.00 apiece. The company announced its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2023 with 3.14 per cent rise in revenue. Net profit rose to Rs 71 crore from net loss of Rs 24 crore in the previous year’s same quarter.
Schneider Electric Infrastructure Ltd rallied 4.63 per cent to trade at Rs 360.25 apiece. The company reported multifold jump in its net profit to Rs 42.86 crore from Rs 8.74 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2023.
Deepak Nitrite Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 3.78 per cent to trade at Rs 2192.00 apiece. The company also reported its financial results for the September quarter with 18 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 205 crore.
