Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 317.84 points or 0.50 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further strengthened at 64,040.10 signifying a gain of 448.77 points or 0.71 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals fell by 0.12 per cent, power gained 0.75 and auto rose by 0.81 per cent.
Meanwhile, JK Tyre & Industries Ltd, RailTel Corporation of India Ltd and Hindware Home Innovation Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
JK Tyre & Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 13.94 per cent to trade at Rs 351.05 apiece. The company reported strong financial performance for the quarter ended September 30, 2023 with net profit rising 371 per cent to Rs 242 crore.
RailTel Corporation of India Ltd rallied 4.57 per cent to trade at Rs 231.30 apiece. The company’s CMD, Sanjai Kumar said on Tuesday that the company's current order book stands at Rs 5,000 crore, while expressing optimism about the potential for securing new orders in the range of Rs 2,000-2,500 crore over the next 12 to 18 months.
Hindware Home Innovation Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.34 per cent to trade at Rs 515.90 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
