Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 212.51 points or 0.32 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood flat at 65,929.45 signifying a loss of 16.02 points or 0.03 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals fell by 0.13 per cent, power gained 0.04 and auto rose by 0.16 per cent.
Meanwhile, Cyient Ltd, T D Power Systems Ltd and Aditya Birla Capital Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Cyient Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 4.22 per cent to trade at Rs 1740.10 apiece. On September 22, the company appointed Nitin Prasad to its board of directors. In his current role, as Chairman of Shell Companies in India, Nitin Prasad has oversight over all of Shell's companies and investments and was responsible for the company's presence, reputation and business development in India.

T D Power Systems Ltd rallied 4.00 per cent to trade at Rs 259.75 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Aditya Birla Capital Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 2.84 per cent to trade at Rs 179.40 apiece. On September 26, the company in its exchange filing said that it has infused Rs 750 crore on rights basis, in the equity shares of Aditya Birla Finance Limited, which is a wholly owned material subsidiary of the Company.
