Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 12.51 points or 0.02 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further strengthened stood at 66,048.81 signifying a gain of 95.33 points or 0.35 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.19 per cent, power gained 0.21 and auto rose by 0.25 per cent.

Meanwhile, Gland Pharma Ltd, Zen Technologies Ltd and ITD Cementation India Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

Gland Pharma Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 10.14 per cent to trade at Rs 1480.05 apiece.  The company posted excellent quarterly performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2023. Consolidated revenue rose by 41 per cent to Rs 1,209 crore, however, net profit fell by 15 per cent to 194 crore on YoY basis. In its exchange filing, the company said that out of 41 per cent revenue growth, 37 per cent contributed from the acquisition of Cenexi and 4 per cent from the base business

Zen Technologies Ltd rallied 5.95 per cent to trade at Rs 714.90 apiece.  The company reported robust quarterly performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2023 with multifold jump in net profit. The company’s revenue rose by 257 per cent to Rs 132.45 while net profit jumped 532 per cent to Rs 47.08 crore on YoY basis.

ITD Cementation India Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 5.79 per cent to trade at Rs 191.05 apiece. The company also posted strong quarterly performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2023 with 73.37 per cent jump in net profit to Rs 52.34 crore.
