Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 354.47 points or 0.54 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 65,550.61 signifying a loss of 232.17 points or 0.35 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals declined by 0.65 per cent, power fell by 0.14 and auto fell by 0.16 per cent.

Meanwhile, Privi Speciality Chemicals Ltd, PTC Industries Ltd and Narayana Hrudayalaya Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

Privi Speciality Chemicals Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 6.34 per cent to trade at Rs 1144.95 apiece.  The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.

PTC Industries Ltd rallied 5.00 per cent to trade at Rs 4684.90 apiece.  The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.

Narayana Hrudayalaya Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 3.47 per cent to trade at Rs 1050.00 apiece. The company posted excellent financial performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2023. Net profit jumped by 66.39 per cent to Rs 184.04 crore on YoY basis while consolidated revenue increased by 19.35 per cent to Rs 1,233.43 crore.
