Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 281.39 points or 0.42 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 67,074.34 signifying a slight decline of 23.10 points or 0.03 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.14 per cent, power gained 0.23 and auto rose by 0.06 per cent.
Meanwhile, RHI Magnesita India Ltd, Hatsun Agro Product Ltd and L&T Finance Holdings Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
RHI Magnesita India Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 13.98 per cent to trade at Rs 702.80 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.

Hatsun Agro Product Ltd rallied 9.76 per cent to trade at Rs 1071.05 apiece. The company posted excellent financial performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2023 with 54 per cent jump in net profit.
L&T Finance Holdings Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 3.52 per cent to trade at Rs 138.20 apiece. L&T Finance Holdings also reported a stellar financial performance for Q1FY24 with net profit of Rs 531 crore up 103 per cent YoY.
