Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 333.44 points or 0.54 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 61,163.10 signifying a decline of 586.15 points or 0.95 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals fell by 0.36 per cent, power gained 0.16 and auto rose by 0.13 per cent.
Meanwhile, Agi Greenpac Ltd, Jammu & Kashmir Bank Ltd and Blue Star Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Agi Greenpac Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 13.97 per cent to trade at Rs 471.00 apiece. The stock jumped as the company posted excellent quarterly performance for the quarter ended March 31, 2023.

Jammu & Kashmir Bank Ltd rallied 4.70 per cent to trade at Rs 62.33 apiece. The bank recorded highest ever net annual profit of Rs 1197 crore for the Financial year 2022-23.
Blue Star Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.69 per cent to trade at Rs 1505.00 apiece. The company reported 195 per cent rise in its Q4 net revenue. The board has also announced 1:1 bonus share and Rs 12 per share dividend.
