These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 151.41 points or 0.25 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 61,301.61 signifying a gain of 189.17 points or 0.31 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals gained by 0.06 per cent, power increased by 0.77 and auto fell stood flat.
Meanwhile, Thomas Cook (India) Ltd, Adani Green Energy Ltd and Prism Johnson Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Thomas Cook (India) Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.46 per cent to trade at Rs 69.34 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Adani Green Energy Ltd rallied 5.00 per cent to trade at Rs 998.10 apiece. The stock hit its upper circuit in the pre-opening session after the company reported excellent quarterly performance with 4-fold jump in the net profit.
Prism Johnson Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.67 per cent to trade at Rs 129.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
