Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 362.566 points or 0.60 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index strengthened to 60,180.20, signifying gains of 22.48 points or 0.03 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals was up by 0.17 per cent, power jumped by 0.47 per cent whereas auto gained by 0.10 per cent.
Meanwhile, Adani Green Energy Ltd, Adani Total Gas Ltd and Time Technoplast Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Adani Green Energy Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.00 per cent to trade at Rs 989.75 apiece.
Adani Total Gas Ltd rallied 4.00 per cent to trade at Rs 991.00 apiece. During the March quarter, LIC has increased the stakes in Adani Group with highest increase in stake seen in Adani Green Energy and Adani Total Gas. The two Adani stocks that suffered the highest value loss after Hindenburg accused the port-to-power conglomerate of stock price manipulation.
Time Technoplast Ltd, an S&P BSE smallcap company, climbed 3.73 per cent to trade at Rs 83.70 apiece. The company has received order from Indraprastha Gas Ltd for supply of CNG Cascades for a value of Rs 54.0 crore.
