At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 280.38 points or 0.47 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index was trading at 59,627.01, signifying loss of 62.3 points or 0.10 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals slipped by 0.85 per cent, power gained by 0.39 per cent whereas auto was down by 0.17 per cent.
Meanwhile, Go Fashion (India) Ltd, National Standard (India) Ltd and D B Realty Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Go Fashion (India) Ltd, a S&P BSE 500 company, surged 13.52 per cent to trade at Rs 1135.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
National Standard (India) Ltd rallied 5 per cent to trade at Rs 5024.50 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Yesterday, the company informed in its exchange filing about the board meeting which is to be held on April 12 to approve the Audited Financial Results of the Company for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2023.
D B Realty Ltd, a S&P BSE SmallCap company, climbed 5 per cent to trade at Rs 73.33 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
