Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 107.8 points or 0.18 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further weakened to 57,640.11, signifying loss of 349.79 points or 0.60 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals got hammered by 1.05 per cent, power weakened by 0.86 per cent whereas auto surged by 0.34 per cent.

Meanwhile, Caplin Point Laboratories Ltd, Kiri Industries Ltd and Uflex Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. None of these companies have made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in their share prices could be driven purely by the market forces.  

Caplin Point Laboratories Ltd, a S&P BSE 500 company, surged 17.91 per cent to trade at Rs 720 apiece.

Kiri Industries Ltd, a S&P BSE SmallCap company, rallied 5 per cent to trade at Rs 307.90 apiece.

Uflex Ltd, another S&P BSE SmallCap company, climbed 4.96 per cent to trade at Rs 366.65 apiece.
