Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 205.58 points or 0.34 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further strengthened to 59,293.01, signifying gains of 383.66 points or 0.65 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals shined by 0.65 per cent, power strengthened by 1 per cent whereas auto surged by 0.25 per cent.
Meanwhile, Kiri Industries Ltd, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd and Adani Enterprises Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Kiri Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE SmallCap company, surged 8.35 per cent to trade at Rs 330.95 apiece. Yesterday, the company reported that the Singapore International Commercial Court ('SICC') shall deliver the judgement on final valuation of Company's stake in DyStar Global Holdings (Singapore) Pte. Ltd today, i.e. March 3, 2023.
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ), an S&P BSE 100 company, rallied 5.91 per cent to trade at Rs 660 apiece. Yesterday, the company reported its monthly business performance. As per the filing, in February 2023, APSEZ handled nearly 26.5 MMT of total cargo, implying a YoY growth of nearly 10 per cent. During Apr’22-Feb’23, APSEZ clocked nearly 307 MMT of cargo volumes, which is 8.5 per cent YoY growth.
Adani Enterprises Ltd, another S&P BSE 100 company, climbed 5.75 per cent to trade at Rs 1699 apiece. As per the exchange filing, the Adani Portfolio companies completed Rs 15,446 crore secondary equity transaction with GQG Partners.
