Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 56.84 points or 0.09 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index was trading at the level of 60,665.71, signifying loss of 16.99 points or 0.03 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals got hammered by 0.24 per cent, power weakened by 0.86 per cent whereas auto was trading flat.
Meanwhile, Galaxy Surfactants Ltd, Ingersoll-Rand (India) Ltd and Jindal Poly Films Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Galaxy Surfactants Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, surged 8.52 per cent to trade at Rs 2520.05 apiece. On Saturday, the company announced its Q3FY23 results. As per the filing, the company's total revenue (including other income) grew by 31.4 per cent YoY to Rs 3,473.6 crore. Further, PAT grew by 76.7 per cent YoY to Rs 290.5 crore.
Ingersoll-Rand (India) Ltd, an S&P BSE SmallCap company, rallied 7.67 per cent to trade at Rs 2130.05 apiece. On Friday, the company announced its Q3FY23 results. The company reported total income of Rs 323.85 crore, exhibiting a 30 per cent growth YoY. PAT grew by 67 per cent YoY to Rs 47.96 crore.
Jindal Poly Films Ltd, another S&P BSE SmallCap company, climbed 5.98 per cent to trade at Rs 748 apiece. This rally comes ahead of the company's board meeting, which is set to be held tomorrow to approve the Q3FY23 results.
