Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 366.84 points or 0.60 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index was trading at the level of 60,838.08, signifying loss of 140.67 points or 0.23 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals were trading flat, power weakened by 0.15 per cent whereas auto surged by 0.11 per cent.
Meanwhile, Bharti Airtel Ltd, CarTrade Tech Ltd and Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Bharti Airtel Ltd surged 5.74 per cent to trade at Rs 418 apiece. Yesterday, the company announced the launch of its cutting edge 5G services in Coimbatore, Madurai, Hosur, Trichy. Airtel’s 5G services are already live in Chennai.
CarTrade Tech Ltd, an S&P BSE SmallCap company, rallied 5.65 per cent to trade at Rs 499.95 apiece. Yesterday, the company released its quarterly performance. For Q3FY23, the company reported its highest ever quarterly revenue at Rs 115.86 crore and highest ever quarterly adjusted EBITDA at Rs 36.60 crore.
Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd, another S&P BSE SmallCap company, climbed 3.42 per cent to trade at Rs 324.85 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
