Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 97.93 points or 0.16 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further strengthened to 60,911.78, signifying gains of 71.04 points or 0.12 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals shined by 0.57 per cent, power strengthened by 0.53 per cent whereas auto surged by 0.26 per cent.
Meanwhile, Privi Speciality Chemicals Ltd, MOIL Ltd and Sindhu Trade Links Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Privi Speciality Chemicals Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, surged 11.90 per cent to trade at Rs 1274.60 apiece. Last week, the company acquired Radiance MH Sunrise Ten private Limited. Further, the company entered into a Power Purchase agreement (PPA) with the acquired company.
MOIL Ltd, an S&P BSE SmallCap company, rallied 5.03 per cent to trade at Rs 169.05 apiece. Yesterday, the company reported its operational performance during December 2022. As per the exchange filing, MOIL registered best December production of 141,321 tonnes in December 2022, breaking a multi-year record. Producing at its rated capacity level, production increase has been to an extent of 18 percent over November 2022.
Sindhu Trade Links Ltd, from Diversified Commercial Services space, climbed 4.08 per cent to trade at Rs apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
