Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 272.24 points or 0.44 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index was trading at the level of 60,829.59, signifying loss of 97.84 points or 0.16 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals got hammered by 0.36 per cent, power weakened by 0.15 per cent whereas auto surged by the same quantum.
Meanwhile, Adani Wilmar Ltd, D B Realty Ltd and Century Textiles & Industries Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. None of these companies have made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in their share prices could be driven purely by the market forces.
Adani Wilmar Ltd, an S&P BSE 200 company, surged 4.99 per cent to trade at Rs 578.35 apiece.
D B Realty Ltd, an S&P BSE SmallCap company, rallied 4.50 per cent to trade at Rs 92.80 apiece.
Century Textiles & Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, climbed 3.66 per cent to trade at Rs 736.90 apiece.
