Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 96.81 points or 0.15 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index was trading at the level of 62,555.56, signifying loss of 122.35 points or 0.20 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals and power weakened by 0.1 per cent whereas auto was trading flat.
Meanwhile, Dish TV India Ltd, Dilip Buildcon Ltd and Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Dish TV India Ltd, an S&P BSE SmallCap company, surged 4.73 per cent to trade at Rs 23.25 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcement of late. Hence, the rally in its share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Dilip Buildcon Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, rallied 3.22 per cent to trade at Rs 237 apiece. Yesterday, the company announced the execution of a contract agreement with the Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Ltd through RBL-DBL JV. The project cost stands at Rs 1061 crore and is expected to be completed in 26 months.
Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd, another S&P BSE SmallCap company, climbed 3.10 per cent to trade at Rs 1395.05 apiece. Yesterday, the company announced the introduction of HGS Axle, a custom-built human-centric automated dispatch assistant that helps Emergency Roadside Service (ERS) teams by triaging and capturing information while alleviating stress for stranded drivers. Further, the company informed that a board meeting is set to be held on December 19, to consider and approve inter-alia, a proposal for buy-back of equity shares of the company.
