Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 179.82 points or 0.28 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further strengthened to 62,914.58, signifying gains of 46.08 points or 0.07 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals shined by 0.4 per cent, power strengthened by 0.10 per cent whereas auto slipped by 0.12 per cent.
Meanwhile, Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Ltd, Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Ltd and Somany Ceramics Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Ltd, an S&P BSE SmallCap company, surged 10.95 per cent to trade at Rs 15 apiece. On Friday, the company informed that it has paid entire overdues towards term loan installments (till September 2022), term loan interests (till November 2022) and Optionally Convertible Debentures (OCD) coupon (payable for FY 2022) to all the lenders.
Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Ltd, rallied 4.93 per cent to trade at Rs 490 apiece. On Saturday, the company announced that an analyst / institutional investor meeting is set to be held on 09 December 2022.
Somany Ceramics Ltd, another S&P BSE SmallCap company, climbed 3.47 per cent to trade at Rs 523.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
