Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 187.36 points or 0.3 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index strengthened to 61,910.43, signifying gains of 159.83 points or 0.26 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals got hammered by 0.6 per cent, power weakened by 1.15 per cent whereas auto slipped by 1.5 per cent.
Meanwhile, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd, Inox Wind Ltd and CarTrade Tech Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. Barring Dhanuka Agritech Ltd, the other two companies have not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in their share prices could be driven purely by the market forces.
Dhanuka Agritech Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, surged 3.3 per cent to trade at Rs 729.90 apiece. Yesterday, the company had conducted a buy back operation of its shares.
Inox Wind Ltd, an S&P BSE SmallCap company, rallied 3.30 per cent to trade at Rs 122.15 apiece.
CarTrade Tech Ltd, another S&P BSE SmallCap company, climbed 2.92 per cent to trade at Rs 509.80 apiece
