Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 368.84 points or 0.6 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index strengthened to 61,418.00, signifying gains of 232.85 points or 0.38 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals shined by 1.3 per cent, power strengthened by 0.8 per cent whereas auto surged by 1.6 per cent.
Meanwhile, PB Fintech, Hindustan Foods and Matrimony.com emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
PB Fintech Ltd, an S&P BSE 200 company, surged 4.85 per cent to trade at Rs 405 apiece. On Monday, the company announced its Q2FY23 results. During the quarter, revenue more than doubled whereas core business EBITDA grew by Rs 60 crore.
Hindustan Foods Ltd, an S&P BSE SmallCap company, rallied 4.79 per cent to trade at Rs 503.05 apiece. Yesterday, the company announced its Q2FY23 results. As per the exchange filing, revenues increased by 41 per cent to Rs 663.7 crore in Q2FY23 from Rs 471.9 crore in Q2FY22.
Matrimony.com Ltd, another S&P BSE SmallCap company, climbed 4.12 per cent to trade at Rs 627.75 apiece. This rally comes ahead of the company's Q2FY23 results announcement, which is scheduled for tomorrow.
