Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre- opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 314.65 points or 0.51 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index was trading at the level of 61,096.37, signifying a loss of 24.98 points or 0.04 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals got hammered by 0.3 per cent, whereas auto and power were trading flat.
Meanwhile, Karnataka Bank, Oil India and Saregama India emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Karnataka Bank Ltd, an S&P BSE SmallCap company, surged 14.18 per cent to trade at Rs 107.10 apiece. On Tuesday, the company announced its results for the quarter ending September 30, 2022. As per the exchange filing, with a 228 per cent YoY jump, the bank posted an all-time high quarterly net profit of Rs 411.47 crore.
Oil India Ltd, an S&P BSE 200 company, rallied 2.21 per cent to trade at Rs 196.70 apiece. The company's board meeting is scheduled on November 10, 2022 ,inter alia, to consider and approve results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2022.
Saregama India Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, climbed 2.13 per cent to trade at Rs 398.10 apiece. On Monday, the company released its quarterly and half yearly performance. As per the exchange filing, in Q2FY23, the company's revenue grew by 30 per cent YoY whereas the PAT increased by 36 per cent YoY.
